Skin Deep

SKIN DEEP - I use the term skin deep for this project as beauty is not within the skin but beneath the skin implicating the essence of skin deep divinity.

A lot of our peers,family, friends, partners the list goes on do not feel their beauty is represented. They don’t see their selves celebrated in the media, they don’t see their selves celebrated in fashion, editorials , beauty campaigns without a level of tokenism. We as an industry should be making a change, we should be going that extra mile to make people feel included,represented and celebrated. We have simply grown up with one beauty standard which is extremely hard on the mental health of those who don’t hold this appearance. If we simply just REPRESENT as much people as we can we will be a much healthier,happier and beautiful industry. Every person holds different beauty and every person deserves that to be celebrated. 🤎
